Does the PNG to JPEG converter keep transparency?

When JPEG supports an alpha channel (PNG, WebP, GIF) and the original PNG had transparency, we keep it. Converting to a format without transparency (JPG, BMP) fills transparent areas with white by default.
Can I batch-convert PNG images to JPEG?

Will the converted JPEG have the same dimensions as my PNG?

Why is my converted JPEG file larger than the original PNG?

If JPEG is lossless and PNG was lossy (or vice versa), file size will change. PNG (lossless) is typically larger than JPG (lossy) for photographs but smaller for solid-color graphics and screenshots.
