Does the JPEG to PNG converter keep transparency?

When PNG supports an alpha channel (PNG, WebP, GIF) and the original JPEG had transparency, we keep it. Converting to a format without transparency (JPG, BMP) fills transparent areas with white by default.
Can I batch-convert JPEG images to PNG?

Will the converted PNG have the same dimensions as my JPEG?

Yes — pixel dimensions are preserved by default. If you want to resize during conversion, use the PNG resize tool after the conversion finishes.
Is my JPEG image private when I convert it?

Why is my converted PNG file larger than the original JPEG?

If PNG is lossless and JPEG was lossy (or vice versa), file size will change. PNG (lossless) is typically larger than JPG (lossy) for photographs but smaller for solid-color graphics and screenshots.
