How big can my JFIF files be?

Free accounts: 100 MB total per job. PRO accounts: 5 GB. Most JPG and PNG inputs are well under those limits even for hundreds of pages.

Will the resulting PDF be password-protected?

Not by default — PDFs come unencrypted. You can add a password (or remove one) using the PDF protect / unlock tool after conversion.
