What resolution is the BMP?

The cover renders at the native resolution embedded in the EPUB, and page renders default to 150 DPI. Raise the DPI in the options for a sharper BMP when you plan to zoom or print.
Will the text in the BMP be selectable?

No. A BMP is a raster image, so any text from the EPUB becomes pixels and is no longer selectable or searchable. Convert the EPUB to PDF or a document if you need live text.
How does PDF.to handle the reflowable layout of a EPUB?

Because a EPUB has no fixed pages, PDF.to applies a standard reading layout before rendering, so each BMP shows a clean, consistently formatted page rather than an arbitrary device view.
Does the BMP keep illustrations from the EPUB?
