Will the converted JPEG have the same dimensions as my JPG?

Why is my converted JPEG file larger than the original JPG?

If JPEG is lossless and JPG was lossy (or vice versa), file size will change. PNG (lossless) is typically larger than JPG (lossy) for photographs but smaller for solid-color graphics and screenshots.
