You choose. The default is cover-only, returning a single JPG. Switch to full-render mode and PDF.to produces one JPG per page of the EPUB, zipped together for download.
No. A JPG is a raster image, so any text from the EPUB becomes pixels and is no longer selectable or searchable. Convert the EPUB to PDF or a document if you need live text.
Yes. Inline images and illustrations from the EPUB are part of the rendered page, so they appear in the JPG exactly where they sit in the ebook.
