AIFF to AV1 Conversion FAQ
Is the AIFF to AV1 converter free?
+
Yes. One conversion an hour is free, with no account needed, for a file within the free size limit. A paid plan removes the hourly limit and the size limit, and lets you add several files to one job.
What is the maximum AIFF file size I can convert?
+
Free users can convert AIFF files up to the free size limit, which varies by file type. PRO subscribers can convert much larger files and run batches in parallel.
Can I batch-convert multiple AIFF files to AV1?
+
Several files in one job need a paid plan. Free use is one file per conversion, one conversion an hour. On a paid plan you can add several files to one job, then download each result on its own or all of them in one ZIP.
Does PDF.to keep my AIFF files?
+
Only for a short time. Your uploaded AIFF and the resulting AV1 are deleted from our servers automatically about 24 hours after the conversion, which leaves time to download the result. Nobody reads the contents, and nothing is shared.
Does the AIFF to AV1 converter work on mobile?
+
Yes. The whole interface is mobile-responsive and conversions run server-side, so your phone or tablet does not need processing power — just a browser.
How long does a AIFF to AV1 conversion take?
+
It depends on the size and length of the file. Small documents and images are usually ready quickly. Long videos take the longest, because most video conversions re-encode every frame.
Can I convert AIFF to AV1 without an account?
+
Yes. One conversion an hour is free, with no account needed, for a file within the free size limit. A paid plan removes the hourly limit and the size limit, and lets you add several files to one job.
Which browsers does the AIFF to AV1 converter support?
+
All modern browsers — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Brave. Internet Explorer is not supported. Mobile Safari and Chrome on Android both work.
What if my AV1 download does not start automatically?
+
Click the Download AV1 button on the results page. If your browser is blocking the download, check the popup-blocker icon in the address bar, or right-click and choose Save link as.
