AAC to WMV Conversion FAQ
Why would I convert AAC audio to a WMV video?
+
A WMV video plays everywhere a raw AAC sometimes will not — most notably on video-only platforms and social feeds that require a video container. It is the standard way to publish a podcast, song, or mix as a shareable WMV.
Can I batch-convert many AAC files to WMV?
+
Several files in one job need a paid plan. Free use is one file per conversion, one conversion an hour. On a paid plan you can add several files to one job, then download each result on its own or all of them in one ZIP.
Is the AAC to WMV conversion free?
+
Yes, within the free size limit. PRO unlocks much larger AAC uploads, longer durations, and parallel jobs.
How long can the AAC be?
+
Full-length albums and multi-hour AAC recordings convert fine. Because the picture is static, even a long WMV stays modest in size relative to a filmed video of the same length.
Will the WMV play on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok?
+
Yes. PDF.to encodes the WMV with a widely supported codec and pixel format, so the resulting video uploads cleanly to the major platforms that reject bare AAC audio.
Are my AAC files private during conversion?
+
Yes. Uploads travel over HTTPS, nobody reads the contents, and nothing is shared. Your uploaded AAC and the resulting WMV are deleted from our servers automatically about 24 hours after the conversion, which leaves time to download the result.
