**Applied and Computational Complex Analysis - Vol 1: Power Series, Integration, Conformal Mapping, Location of Zeros free download by Peter Henrici**

At a mathematical level accessible to the non-specialist, the third of a three-volume work shows how to use methods of complex analysis in applied mathematics and computation. The book examines two-dimensional potential theory and the construction of conf...

**Numerical conformal mapping: Domain decomposition and the mapping of quadrilaterals epub download by Papamichael N., Stylianopoulos N.**

This is a unique monograph on numerical conformal mapping that gives a comprehensive account of the theoretical, computational and application aspects of the problems of determining conformal modules of quadrilaterals and of mapping conformally onto a rec...

**Boundary Behaviour of Conformal Maps download pdf by Christian Pommerenke (auth.)**

We study the boundary behaviour of a conformal map of the unit disk onto an arbitrary simply connected plane domain. A principal aim of the theory is to obtain a one-to-one correspondence between analytic properties of the function and geometrie propertie...

**Applied and Computational Complex Analysis. I: Power Series, Integration, Conformal Mapping, Location of Zeros free download by Peter Henrici**

This volume, after laying the necessary foundations in the theory of power series and complex integration, discusses applications and basic theory (without the Riemann mapping theorem) of conformal mapping and the solution of algebraic and transcendental ...

**Dirichlet's principle, conformal mapping, and minimal surfaces free download by Richard Courant**

An examination of approaches to easy-to-understand but difficult-to-solve mathematical problems, this classic text begins with a discussion of Dirichlet's principle and the boundary value problem of potential theory, then proceeds to examinations of confo...

One of the most diverse branch of mathematics, complex variables proves enormously valuable for solving problems of heat flow, potential theory, fluid mechanics, electromagnetic theory, aerodynamics and moany others that arise in science and engineering. ...

**Inversion Theory and Conformal Mapping (Student Mathematical Library 9) download pdf by David E. Blair**

It is rarely taught in undergraduate or even graduate curricula that the only conformal maps in Euclidean space of dimension greater than two are those generated by similarities and inversions in spheres. This is in stark contrast to the wealth of conform...

The Kernel Function and Conformal Mapping by Stefan Bergman is a revised edition of The Kernel Function. The author has made extensive changes in the original volume. The present book will be of interest not only to mathematicians, but also to engineers, physicists, and computer scientists. The applications of orthogonal functions in solving boundary value problems and conformal mappings onto canonical domains are discussed; and publications are indicated where programs for carrying out numerical work using high-speed computers can be found. The unification of methods in the theory of functions of one and several complex variables is one of the purposes of introducing the kernel function and the domains with a distinguished boundary. This approach has been extensively developed during the last two decades. This second edition of Professor Bergman's book reviews this branch of the theory including recent developments not dealt with in the first edition. The presentation of the topics is simple and presupposes only knowledge of an elementary course in the theory of analytic functions of one variable.
